About Us
Tuxedo Falls is a 50-acre outdoor hospitality and conservation project launching in May 2025. Our upscale glamping business combines luxury accommodations—including treehouses and safari tents—with breathtaking natural surroundings. We offer unforgettable experiences, including fly-fishing, yoga, hiking, and private events, for busy urban professionals seeking a serene escape.
We’re looking for a dynamic, motivated Outdoor Hospitality Intern to join our team for Summer 2025. This role is perfect for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of outdoor hospitality, from guest services and marketing to conservation and event coordination.
What You’ll Do
As our intern, you’ll wear many hats, gaining exposure to various aspects of our business:
Hospitality & Guest Services
- Assist with guest check-ins and ensure a seamless luxury experience.
- Help coordinate activities such as guided hikes, yoga classes, and fly-fishing lessons.
- Maintain and prepare accommodations to meet our high standards.
Environmental Conservation
- Support land stewardship efforts, such as maintaining trails and monitoring trout streams.
- Educate guests about sustainable tourism practices.
Marketing & Social Media
- Create engaging content for social media and marketing campaigns.
- Highlight guest experiences and property features to attract future visitors.
Event Planning & Coordination
- Assist with setup and execution of elopements, retreats, and other private events.
- Work closely with vendors and help manage event logistics.
Operations & Business Development
- Research market trends and provide ideas to improve guest experiences.
- Analyze guest feedback to help refine our offerings.
- Build partnerships with local businesses to enhance on-site activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in hospitality, business, environmental science, marketing, or a related field.
- Passion for the outdoors, sustainability, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Creativity and an eye for detail, especially for marketing and events.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
