Annual Giving Coordinator
Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Annual Giving Coordinator is responsible for supporting the LSU Foundation’s centrally led annual giving strategies across multiple channels, with an emphasis on crowdfunding and leadership annual giving, to advance LSU's academic fundraising priorities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
(40 %) Serve as project lead for crowdfunding efforts and digital-focused campaigns, working closely with colleagues campuswide to align initiatives with university branding and priorities.
(20 %) Provide project management and strategy development for leadership annual giving efforts serving academic units campuswide, with a focus on increasing donor retention and upgrades.
(15 %) Enhance the use of online giving and digital marketing (e.g., email, websites and other cloud-based solutions, social media, and texting platforms) to create a personal and positive giving experience for donors.
(15 %) Analyze data to gain and act upon insights and assess performance of digital fundraising efforts to improve segmentation and messaging.
(10 %) Perform other duties as assigned.
Non-Essential / Marginal Position Responsibilities
- Contribute as a creative thought partner on selected annual giving projects.
Required level/type of experience
- Proficient Level in Office 365 suite, particularly Excel.
- Educational background or work experience in the communications and marketing, fundraising, and/or nonprofit industries.
- Demonstrated ability to research, develop, implement, and evaluate project plans.
- Strong technological literacy and experience learning and working with digital communications tools.
Preferred level/type of experience
- Proven skill in data analysis for marketing efforts.
- Knowledge of client-services models, including marketing operations and project management.
- Experience working within a CRM.

Required education
Bachelor’s degree a related field of study from an accredited college or university
Preferred education
Master’s degree in a related field of study from an accredited college or university
