Video Editing Intern Position

Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing: Assist in editing raw footage into polished videos suitable for publication.
  • Content Organization: Manage and organize video files to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Collaborative Projects: Work closely with our content creators and marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver content that aligns with our brand identity.
  • Research and Implementation: Stay updated with the latest video editing trends and techniques to enhance the quality of our content.
  • Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from team members to refine and improve video outputs.

Required Skills:

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Creative Eye: Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and correct errors in footage, audio, and overall video quality.
  • Time Management: Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication abilities for collaboration and feedback integration.


 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with motion graphics and animation.
  • Understanding of sound design and audio editing.
  • Knowledge of color grading and correction techniques.
  • Familiarity with various video formats and codecs.

Internship Completion Criteria:

  • Project Portfolio: Successful editing and delivery of assigned video projects demonstrating your skills and growth.
  • Skill Development: Evident improvement in video editing techniques and software proficiency. Specifically with software such as Canva
  • Team Collaboration: Active participation in team meetings and collaborative projects, showcasing effective communication and teamwork.
  • Professionalism: Adherence to deadlines, receptiveness to feedback, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
