Marketing & Sales Engineer

Advanced Optowave Corporation is a laser solution provider located in Long Island, New York. We develop innovative, state-of-the-art laser micro machining solutions to meet the needs of industrial, consumer electronics and biomedical customers. Advanced Optowave is in search of a highly motivated and energetic Marketing & Sales Engineer to work with our team and help continue the explosive growth we have seen in recent years. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Generate content for marketing materials on multiple platforms, such as websites, social media, email campaigns, cold calls and etc.
  • Organize the tradeshow, open house, or customer visiting process. 
  • Develop new customers for our products and services, which include industrial lasers, laser micro-machining systems, and contract manufacturing services.
  • Maintain the relationship with the customers and follow up the projects and cases.
  • Learn laser technology and implement laser applications with the technical team if it is needed.
  • Complete the tasks that the management team requires.

Qualifications Required:

  • Self-driven and a self-starter.
  • Open-minded and self-motivated.
  • Focus on long-term career success.
  • Results-oriented, detail-oriented and creative.
  • Strong desire to success and actively searches for all the resources needed for success on their own.
  • Think deep of the assigned tasks to achieve excellent outcomes with on-time delivery.
  • Resolve the issues independently and escalate as required to the management team.
  • Improve their own by reviewing and learning from the daily work.
  • Major in marketing or physics/material science/mechanical design.
  • Associate degree and above.
  • Excellent self-learning capabilities.
  • Excellent people skills and communication skills.
  • Contract and negotiation skills
  • A successful track record and a team player is a must.
  • MS Office proficient.
  • PS or AI preferable.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year.
  • Commission based on sales revenue.
  • Annual bonus. (TBA)
  • 401k retirement plan.
  • Medical insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance.
