Description: Social Media and Marketing Internship
Responsibilities: The National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA), housed at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, is one of nine elder justice resource centers funded by the Administration for Community Living, which is part of the US Department of Health and Human Services. We educate professionals and the public in elder abuse prevention, intervention, and awareness. As part of that goal, we develop numerous publications, including briefs, fact sheets, and research translations, among other products and disseminate that information to our national audience. We are looking for a dynamic and creative social media intern to develop engaging social media content and marketing campaigns to highlight our products and projects and help us educate professionals and the public in elder abuse prevention and awareness.
Requirements: Candidates should have significant experience developing creative, innovative, and engaging social media content and campaigns for professionals and the public. Candidates must also be able to utilize and analyze social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness. Strong organizational and time management skills are required. Candidates should have a "can do'' attitude with a great work ethic. Interest in social justice work is a plus. Please provide a portfolio if available.
