SEO and Content Intern
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SEO & Content Intern to join our team. This role involves creating new blog posts, updating existing ones, and performing essential SEO tasks to improve our website’s visibility and performance. If you’re someone who enjoys writing, optimizing content, and learning the ins and outs of SEO, we’d love to have you on board.
Responsibilities:
- Write engaging, SEO-friendly blog posts based on provided content guidelines and topics.
- Update and optimize existing blog posts for improved search rankings.
- Rewrite titles and meta descriptions to boost click-through rates.
- Downsize and optimize images to enhance website loading speed.
- Research and implement targeted keywords into content.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining our blog section for clarity and accessibility.
- Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for SEO improvement.
- Monitor blog performance and suggest optimizations based on data insights.
Qualifications:
- Strong writing skills with attention to grammar, tone, and flow.
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar (a plus, but not required).
- Experience with resizing and optimizing images using tools like Photoshop, Canva, or online editors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to feedback.
- Familiarity with Shopify or WordPress is a bonus.
