ChildNet Youth and Family Services is currently recruiting for a Program Data Assistant for our Behavioral Health Services program located in Long Beach, CA.

Behavioral Health Services (BHS) provides comprehensive services including individual/group therapy for at-risk children and their families. The ChildNet Program Data Department is responsible for the management of data systems, as well as monitoring, analysis, and reporting for ChildNet programs. The Program Data Assistant will be responsible for providing support and training to ChildNet staff on company data systems. In addition, the Program Data Assistant will assist in developing and maintaining systematic processes for collecting, tracking, and monitoring various data for all staff.

Example Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and training to ChildNet staff on data systems.
  • Communicate with Billing, Intake, Quality Assurance, and staff from other departments to address data needs and processes.
  • Enter program, survey, and outcome data as needed.
  • Track and monitor compliance with data and implementation projects.
  • Assist with tracking, collection, and implementation of ChildNet surveys.
  • Identify data issues and assist with data cleaning and training projects.
  • Participate in special data projects, as needed or requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the behavioral sciences or public health field, AND
  • One (1) year of experience with data collection and data entry.
  • In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to candidates who possess at least two (2) years of relevant working experience in data collection or data systems.
  • Strong organization and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work both within a team and/or independently.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain sensitive information with the strictest confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge/skills with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Prior experience using databases is preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience working within the mental health field is desirable.

All offers of employment with ChildNet Youth and Family Services, Inc. are contingent upon a post-offer, pre-hire medical clearance with an occupational physical, tuberculosis screening, and a negative drug test. A criminal background clearance which consists of fingerprinting through the Dept. of Justice/FBI/Child Abuse Index Search is required.

Hourly range; $21-$22

*Pay rate will be determined based on qualifications, degree, experience, bilingual ability, and/or a combination of those factors.
