CMI Associates has an opening for our Full-Time Internship program for Summer 2025. This is a full-time paid internship opportunity. Students with an interest in gaining more experience in sales, business, management, communications, entrepreneurship, and marketing are highly encouraged to apply!
About Us:
CMI Associates is an outsourced sales and marketing firm that makes sure our client's marketing dollars work harder and go farther. Outsourced sales and marketing is an ever-growing industry. As a result, we combine our sales training with our management training program.
CMI is an AT&T-authorized dealer looking to hire for a Sales Representative internship role in the Columbia area and surrounding cities.
This is a hybrid position we are looking for candidates to work virtually to conduct meetings and training via Zoom and also meet face-to-face with our potential customers for one on one consultations for our clients.
Must be able to relocate to the Columbia or Augusta area.
Interns will have the opportunity to work with and shadow multiple departments:
- Sales
- New Business Development
- Marketing
- Human Resources / Recruiting
Sales Responsibilities:
- Opening accounts for new customers.
- Attaching additional products, and upgrading services to existing accounts.
- Reaching out to customers based on leads provided by the client.
- Managing and maintaining great customer rapport in territories that are assigned.
- Collaborating with a team to increase sales in the market.
- Joining daily Zoom meetings to cover campaign strategies and team development.
Management Trainee Responsibilities:
- Learn and conduct interviews with potential employees
- Train new sales representatives
- Run and participate in sales training meetings and workshops.
- Attend professional development meetings
Requirements:
- High level of reliability
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Communications, Management, Marketing or Entrepreneurship
- An interest in expanding sales and communication experience.
- Can complete the 6-8 weeks of the role
