This unique position offers a chance to work in both translational and clinical research projects in the laboratory. The translational and experimental research include participating in the laboratory's projects focused on the gut-brain axis which explores the neuro-modulatory properties of fungi and bacteria. The clinical projects focus on how fungi contribute to inflammatory bowel disease and exploring different therapeutic interventions in the clinic.
