Overview: Axiom Learning is a startup in the education space, dedicated to empowering students of all ages to find happiness and success. We are seeking a motivated Operations Coordinator who embodies a growth-oriented mindset and values creativity, initiative, and a willingness to learn. In this role, you’ll contribute to streamlining our business administration processes and supporting our mission. On any given day, you might handle:


 

  • Ensuring company records and filings are maintained effectively and efficiently.
  • Interfacing with bookkeepers to ensure financial accuracy and maintain our accounts.
  • Overseeing various administrative tasks and supporting finance operations.
  • Managing payroll, ensuring accounts and financial allocations are in good standing.
  • Assisting with business registration and compliance to keep our records up to date.
  • Coordinating with finance to ensure timely submissions and compliance.
  • Updating health insurance, payroll insurance, and liability insurance needs.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel records to serve as a resource for management, enabling informed decision-making and awareness around organizational structure.
  • Collaborating with team members to develop strategies that enhance our culture and service delivery.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing creative solutions to enhance our workflows.
  • Maintaining organized systems for tracking operational data.
  • Assisting with any additional tasks or projects identified to streamline business administration and operations as they arise.


 

Qualifications:


 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in administrative or operations roles is preferred, but we welcome recent graduates who are eager to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Quickbooks, and other relevant software.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.


 

Location: Hybrid, 3 days/week in office in Cambridge, MA


 

Compensation: $65,000 - $72,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
