First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an Organizational Effectiveness Officer to join the Organizational Effectiveness Division team in our Human Resources Group. The Organizational Effectiveness Officer is responsible for designing and implementing strategies that improve organizational performance and effectiveness. This role involves working with various Human Resources functions and data sources to provide insights that enhance organizational structures, programs, processes, and systems to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, employee engagement and workforce development. The Organizational Effectiveness Officer will collaborate with leadership and various departments to ensure data-driven approaches are integrated into organizational development strategies to sustain our brand as an employer-of-choice.
Compensation:
The annual salary range for this role is $60,000 - $86,000 / annually; commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ( hours may vary )
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Data Science, Statistics or related field required
- Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Data Science, Statistics or related field preferred
- Professional certifications are a plus (e.g. Change Management, Project Management, Data Analytics)
- 3 years of experience of Organizational Effectiveness, Employee Engagement, Talent Development, Data Analytics or equivalent work experience required
- 5 years of experience of Organizational Effectiveness, Employee Engagement, Talent Development, Data Analytics or equivalent work experience preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Tableau, Excel)
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong working knowledge of principles of organizational effectiveness, employee engagement and talent development
- Strong interpersonal capabilities, including communication and influencing skills to articulate, motivate and engage all stakeholders
- Proven successful collaborator among peers, colleagues and various levels of employees
- Possesses leadership skills, analytical needs assessment skills, problem solving skills, presentation skills and program development/execution skills
- Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy as needed to create quality deliverables
- Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Self-starter who requires minimal supervision and with the ability to work across multiple departments, divisions and groups
- Analytical thinker with a proactive approach
- Detail-oriented and methodical
- Strong ethical standards and integrity
- Knowledge of tools and working with various learning platforms (e.g. Linkedin Learning)
