Child Support Attorney Supervisor
This position monitors, assigns and reviews work of Child Support attorneys and other assigned staff in legal unit; conducts staff training and performance evaluations, schedules and authorizes leave; recommends necessary discipline action; participates in hiring of new staff; assists the Program Administrator of Child Support Enforcement (CSE) in development of policies and/or procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws. Independently prepares various basic and complex legal documents. Participates in litigation proceedings involving child support enforcement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Admission to the Ohio Bar per Section 4705.01 of the ORC.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CSE program
- Ability to foster and work in a cooperative team environment
- Must be proficient in use of Word and Excel, and must be able to quickly learn other computer programs as needed
- Able to represent the agency effectively and professionally and communicate with diverse groups
- Experience in problem solving, managing change, and conflict resolution
- Ability to manage diverse tasks
