2025 R&D Summer Internship Program
Goulston offers internship opportunities during the summer to students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level degree program.
These opportunities provide a practical learning experience for students where they apply skills and knowledge learned in the classroom. Internships provide on-the-job experience and may lead to full-time employment after graduation.
Student Qualifications are below:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Pursuing a degree in physics, chemistry, textiles, engineering or a related discipline
- Have full-time status at an accredited college or university in the United States
- All applicants must have U.S. work authorization
- Student must be available to work full-time (M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) throughout the internship
- 3.0 or greater cumulative GPA is required
- Track record of achievement and leadership in work and/or extracurricular activities
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Students with work experience in their major area of study including previous internships are preferred
- The ability to work as an integral part of a team, fostering teamwork and cultivating relationships, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Critical and innovative thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Have at least 1 remaining semester in school after the completion of the internship
Program Guidelines
- Internships run 10-12 weeks, generally mid-May through mid-August.
- All positions are paid internships.
- Qualified candidates must meet the criteria above.
- Local candidates preferred.
