Clinical Operations Intern
About the Role
You’ll be working with the Clinical Operations team as they plan, manage, and execute various clinical trials. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with directors from various departments to expose you to how clinical trials are conducted.
Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Contribute to the operations aspect of clinical management, which may include taking part in vendor meetings, developing investigator/site materials, instructional materials for patients, etc.
- Prepare clinical trial training materials such as PowerPoint presentations, instructional materials for sites, etc.
- Assist with operational process flow.
- Organize and archive clinical study documentation within the Trial Master File.
- Interact with various departments such as Clinical Development/Regulatory/CMC etc. to gain exposure to the collaborative development process associated with executing a clinical trial.
- General administrative support to the department and study managers as needed.
Factors for Success:
- Graduate student in the health sciences field (such as biotechnology management, biological sciences, chemistry, etc) within two years of graduation
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability and demonstrated previous experience in critically analyzing complex ideas
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to changing project needs
- Proficient in basic computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- The expected hourly pay for this position is $44/hour for a graduate student.
