Summer Camp Assistant

Part-time/Seasonal

Camps begin June 2nd and continue through August 1st

Join the Miami Township Recreation Department this summer as a camp assistant helping kids have an amazing experience in summer camps like Taylor Swift Camp, Science Discovery Camp, Amazing Art Camp, Harry Potter Camp and much more!  We are looking for enthusiastic, high-energy candidates that love crafts, outdoor adventures, and have experience working with children.  

The Camp Assistant's main role is to support the camp leader and assist with camp operation with the following job responsibilities:

  • SAFETY: Supervising campers during various activities ensuring their safety.
  • FUN: Lead small groups in camp activities and games.
  • BUILDING RELEATIONSHIPS: Serving as a role model for campers, providing guidance, motivation and support.
  • COMMUNICATION: Communicating effectively with the camp leader and parents.
