Training Programs Intern

Job Summary

The intern will support GIS with the design and development of engaging, high-quality training content. This internship provides hands-on experience in instructional design, allowing you to assist in creating e-learning courses, job aids, instructor-led training content, and assessments. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Instructional Designers to ensure alignment of training materials with learning objectives and business goals. There will also be administrative support tasks such as maintaining the online training catalog and assisting with LMS operations.

Projects and Tasks

  • Training course development
  • Learning Management Systems administration
  • Website administration

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in instructional design, education, human resources, or a related field

Physical Requirements

  • Able to remain in a stationary position working on a computer
  • Move about the office to access office machinery, meeting rooms, etc.
  • Operate a computer and other office machinery such as printers and copy machines
  • Transport items and equipment up to 25 lbs. on occasion

 

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 25%
