ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR - NORTHEAST WYOMING BOCES - GILLETTE, WY

The Northeast Wyoming Board of Cooperative Educational Services (NEW BOCES) is seeking a qualified and experienced Executive Director. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of success in education, administration, or a related field. They will be responsible for inspiring and leading the overall operation of the NEW BOCES and ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive educational program that effectively meets the unique needs of our students. The salary for this position is negotiable and will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience, with a minimum starting salary of $145,000. Travel is required and compensation will be negotiated. A competitive benefits package will also be offered.

The NEW BOCES is an educational cooperative founded in 1979. It was established to enable member school districts to collaborate and provide specialized educational services to students with severe emotional and behavioral needs who require intensive treatment programs. The NEW BOCES oversees student education and residential treatment at the Powder River Basin Children’s Center in Gillette as well as at day programs in Cheyenne and Sheridan. The school is fully accredited by Cognia and offers a complete array of special education programs for students ages 5 to 21. The residential program is licensed by the Department of Family Services.
