About Us:
Honey to Cocoa is an app that leverages AI & Computer Vision to help People of Color match makeup to their skin tones.

Role Overview:
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about beauty, technology, or human-centered design? Honey to Cocoa is seeking a motivated Data Collection Intern to support a key project for our AI-driven beauty app. This paid internship is perfect for juniors or seniors studying Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field who want to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge beauty-tech startup.

You’ll work closely with our team to collect, organize, and analyze facial data to improve our app's accuracy. This role requires approximately 10 hours per week for 1-2 months, and you'll be eligible for performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect facial data in alignment with our project goals and ethical guidelines.
  • Engage with a diverse community to gather data while ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Organize and maintain collected data for use by our development team.
  • Collaborate with the founder and other team members to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Provide feedback and insights to enhance our data collection process.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Comfortable engaging with people and building rapport to facilitate data collection.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for inclusivity, beauty, and innovative technology.
  • Basic knowledge of data management tools or interest in learning.
  • Must be located in Atlanta, Georgia or Washington DC
