Campaign Coordinator

As the Campaign Coordinator, you’ll be an essential part of our Development team, working closely with fundraising staff and leadership to ensure the success of our campaign. You’ll manage campaign timelines, coordinate activities, and support relationship-building efforts with donors and partners, sustaining our mission to heal, to discover and to educate as a preeminent health care institution.

Position Summary
Responsible for teaming with the Associate Vice President for Development, Campaign and Western Region in the planning and implementation of National Jewish is fundraising and campaign efforts both, including supporting a broad range of Western Region major gifts fundraising and campaign related activities.

Essential Duties

  1. Prepares Western Region and Campaign fundraising reports for Development Senior Leadership, Development Board and Board of Directors.
  2. Manages and reports fundraising and campaign statistics and campaign cash-flow/gift bucketing.  Creates organizational documents and campaign timeline. Tracks all campaign gifts and pledges, gift recognition, special term gift reporting, naming opportunities, plaquing needs and other related information to ensure accurate, complete and proactive reporting at all times.
  3. Responsible for the maintenance of a comprehensive fundraising and campaign calendar to track solicitations and moves management. Assists in tracking top fundraising prospects to confirm deadlines are met in a timely manner. 
  4. Drafts campaign and non-campaign gift agreements.
  5. Prepares and distributes briefings, agendas, meeting notes, minutes and other documents for fundraising and campaign events, meetings, leadership briefings, cultivation meetings, events, and solicitation meetings.  Manages and coordinates correspondence and other communication related to fundraising, including, but not limited to proposals, stewardship letters, emails, and donor presentations. 
  6. Reviews and tracks Western region fundraising monthly activity reports.
  7. Enters and extracts all appropriate fundraising and campaign related information into the fundraising database.  Tracks stewardship reports, pledge payments and prepares   presidential acknowledgments.  
  8. Assists the Associate Vice President of Campaign and Western Region with revenue projections for current and future fiscal year goals and planning. 
  9. Plans and executes campaign donor stewardship and cultivation events as needed. 
  10. When in active campaign, audits financials with the finance department of National Jewish Health to ensure accurate tracking. 
  11. Maintains a comprehensive Campaign archive including all documentation relating to the planning and implementation of the campaign as well as electronic and hard files of all campaign gifts. This includes ordering, inventory, tracking and updating all plaqueing on campus, ensuring information is in the database and hard files. 
  12. Collaborates with National Jewish Health President/CEO’s assistant to schedule presidential meetings.

Other Duties

  1. Provides senior level administrative support services to include typing, word processing, data entry, editing proofreading, copying, filing, ordering supplies, and producing final copy.
  2. Coordinates the Associate Vice President, Campaign and Western Region schedule: arranges meetings, including meeting location, agendas, travel arrangements, transportation, accommodations, itinerary, and providing information to others as needed.
  3. When in active campaign, supports campaign volunteers and committees and assist in the organization of campaign cabinet meetings.
  4. Performs as back up to staff absences and vacancies as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Education: High School or equivalent required, Bachelor degree preferred.
  2. Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years of recent and related experience in fundraising campaigns, financial tracking/management or project management required.
  3. Special Training, Certification or Licensure: Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications, Fundraising databases, Raiser’s Edge preferred.

 

Salary Range: $58,000 - $70,000
