Job Title: Real Estate Paralegal
Location: Acworth, GA 30101
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in Acworth, GA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate transactions and be well-versed in the processes and documentation required to ensure smooth and efficient closings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Title Work: Order title searches and supporting documentation.
- Drafting Documents: Prepare title commitments, CPLs (Closing Protection Letters), and other necessary legal documents.
- Closing Coordination: Assist with scheduling and coordinating closings with clients, lenders, and other parties.
- File Management: Balance files to ensure accuracy and compliance with all requirements, keeping hard copy files organized as well.
- Post-Closing Support: Assemble post-closing packages, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Recording: Create PT-61s and help ensure timely filed transactional documents.
- Title Insurance: Assist in issuing title insurance policies promptly and accurately.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a real estate paralegal.
- Strong understanding of title and closing processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and title software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with real estate software. We use Closer's Choice.
