Class of 2027: Investment Banking Summer Analyst - New York, Equity Capital Markets Insight Session

Jefferies is excited to invite 2026 Investment Banking Summer Analyst candidates to apply to learn more about a career with our Equity Capital Markets Group in New York. 

Date: Tuesday, January 21, 2025, 2:00-3:00pm ET

Location: Virtual via Zoom. Selected applicants will be provided with Zoom details ahead of the session.

Applicants must be undergraduate students in the class of 2027. 

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to:

  • Hear from senior leaders in our ECM group to learn about their time in the industry
  • Understand the interview process and the summer analyst internship program
  • Learn about the Jefferies culture from bankers

Equity Capital Markets:

The Jefferies Equity Capital Markets ("ECM") group sits at the intersection of investment banking and global markets. The team originates and executes private and public equity offerings, as well as equity-linked financings and derivatives for our global clients. Jefferies is consistently ranked as a leading underwriter of equities and is experienced in executing all equity products including IPOs, follow-ons, block trades, private placements and convertible securities.

Our team partners with the firm’s investment banking industry professionals advising public corporations, private companies, and financial sponsors globally on equity issuance and other aspects of the equity markets. ECM professionals are organized by sector, product, and region. Our ECM team liaises with sales, trading, and research professionals in our global equities group as well as buy-side investors across all major hedge fund and mutual fund clients. The interaction between these groups provides us with excellent market intelligence, industry knowledge, and execution capabilities.

Jefferies ECM offers a 10-week program that takes place at the firm’s headquarters in New York. The program is rotational across the various sector origination teams and product areas within ECM and includes training and orientation with a variety of presentations, coursework, networking events, sessions with senior leaders firmwide, and formal mentorship to aid in your development.
