LEVEL 1 INTERNSHIP – F&B HOSPITALITY OPERATIONS
Description:
This position will provide interns an educational and on-the-job training opportunity which includes all entry level food and beverage positions and basic supervisory duties within the specific food and beverage location. Hands-on experience in greeting, serving, bartending, event serving and set up, expo work, basic opening, and closing supervisory duties as this will provide a sound basis for a future hospitality career, especially for those interested in overall food and beverage operations.
- Daily duties of running a food and beverage location (i.e.: serving, hosting, bartending, expo etc.)
- Work closely with shift supervisors and managers on all daily operations
- Complete ServSafe training as required
- Complete all FOH operations service trainings for all roles as assigned
- Assist all FOH departments with successful shift operational duties and responsibilities
- Daily cleanliness duties of food and beverage location
- Set up and tear down for events
- Closeout of daily operations
- Additional duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- An energetic, hard-working, organized, reliable, and outgoing person who will share our passion for serving fellow associates and guests on a daily basis
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Someone who will represent RedWater to fellow employees and guests with the utmost professionalism
- Priority given to someone working for academic credit
- Ability to lift minimum of 30 pounds
- Available May–October weekends, nights, and weekends

**Applicants must have successfully completed RedWater’s Level One Food & Beverage Internship or completed a similar type of internship prior to this internship. **
Description:
This position will provide interns an educational and on-the-job training opportunity which provides a higher level of supervisory and management duties. Hands-on experience in food and beverage operations will provide a sound basis for a future hospitality career, especially for those interested in restaurant and event operations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with a team along with supervising
- Interact with all managers and supervisors
- Assist with food and beverage inventories
- Work with supervisors and managers to effectively manager daily operations
- Opening duties and closing duties for supervisors and managers
- Work with event operations and understand all aspects of that department
- Complete ServSafe training
- Shadow the Executive Chef/kitchen management for one week
- Work with team on hiring and onboarding of new team members
- Participate in BEO meetings and manager meetings
- Additional duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
