Workplace Design Coordinator (Summer Internship)
Join the Workplace Strategy and Design team in GWx and see how our culture comes to life in the workplace. Our team drives the strategic management of our global workplace strategy and design standards that aim to elevate crew experience. As a Workplace Design Coordinator, you'll gain hands-on experience in design and planning strategy, project delivery, building relationships, corporate change management processes and directly impacting the Vanguard crew experience on a global level.
Primary Responsibilities to include:
- Designing and managing the overall Workplace Strategy to improve crew experience
- Customer relationship management; working with business leaders to understand requirements
- Evolving global design standards; evaluating industry standards and enterprise culture to define office, site master planning, and branding alignment
- Support Strategic Functions; Net Favorable Score campaign, new real estate entry/exit, quarterly planning meetings, long range planning, divisional summaries
- Build Relationship Capital; act as strategic/trusted advisor for MD-1's and business leads
- Knowledge Transfer; intake and communicate business strategies, establish feedback loops between clients and GWx
- Proactive Outcomes; act as a strategic business partner and value creator by supporting GWx client campaigns, capital investment due diligence, and increasing crew engagement and alignment
General Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in architecture, interior design, marketing, communications, real estate or facilities management, or similar degree programs.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and a problem solving mindset
- Substantial research and organizational skills
- Ability to present to leaders and team members virtually and/or in-person
- Strong familiarity with relevant applications including Microsoft Office suite and Teams
- Ability to complete assignments independently
- Familiarity with corporate change management and/or workplace interior design; Experience with process integration and improvements is a plus
- Familiarity with design applications, such as Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign) and/or AutoCAD is a plus
