Position Title: Communications Intern
Location: Remote (with potential for occasional in-person collaboration)
Start Date: Immediately
Hours and Rate: Part-time, 5-10 hours/week (across all weekdays). $20-$25/ hr based on competencies.

Our flagship product, Lymph Attack, is a mobile game that makes learning biology fun and accessible for middle and high school students. As we prepare for the launch of our alpha demo, we’re looking for a passionate, creative Communications Intern to help us build and engage our audience across digital platforms. Role Overview
The Communications Intern will collaborate closely with the leadership team to develop and execute a digital communication strategy. You’ll have a hands-on role in crafting content, managing social media platforms, and engaging with our community of users and advocates. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain experience in digital marketing, entertainment media, and the ed-tech industry while contributing to a project with meaningful social impact.
Responsibilities
- Digital Communication Strategy: Collaborate on the development of a digital communications plan to support the pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases of Lymph Attack.

Content Creation & Management:
- Create engaging content (videos, graphics, captions) for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Develop scripts and storyboards for short-form video content, including gameplay highlights, character introductions, and community updates.
- Optimize content for platform-specific audiences and trends.

Community Engagement:
- Manage our Discord server, fostering a welcoming and interactive environment for feedback and discussion.
- Monitor and respond to audience interactions across all platforms.
- Advocate Outreach: Assist in crafting messaging and visuals for educators, STEM organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track engagement metrics and provide insights to refine strategies.
Qualifications

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator).
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with attention to tone and audience.
- Basic understanding of social media trends and platform algorithms.

- Experience with animation tools (e.g., Blender, Adobe Animate, or similar).
- Familiarity with Discord server management and community-building best practices.
- Interest in STEM education, mobile games, or ed-tech.

- Hardcore interest in video games, deep knowledge of scientific subject matter
