Optometric technician

We are are private optometric practice looking for a new addition to our team in the role of optometric technician. Experience is not necessary; we prefer to hire based on personality and appreciate those who are willing to learn. We are a family-oriented practice and are proud of the work environment we've cultivated! Training is provided paid on-the-job. Duties include preliminary testing on patients, assisting with contact lens and glasses fittings, scribing for the optometrist, and maintaining patient records using our electronic medical records system. Additional duties include those of a receptionist: answering phones, checking insurance, and assisting patients with administrative tasks.
