Human Resources Intern

We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Intern at our site in Groveport, OH.
Our HR Internship is designed to give interns the opportunity to understand the Human Resource generalist function. They will have the opportunity to provide support on the implementation of HR initiatives that are aligned with the business strategy.
Interns could expect to be involved in the following:
• Learn and assist with responsibilities of site-based HR Representatives.
• Provide support on daily HR practices such as, leaves of absences, record keeping documentation, etc.
• Maintain and conduct bi-weekly new hire orientations and new hire paperwork processes
• Provide support for site-wide employee engagement activities
Requirements:
• 3rd or 4th year college student pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in human resources
• Available to work full time for 10-12 weeks during the summer months
HR Interns will support our HR generalist, while also participating in a formalized Summer Internship Program. The goal of the program is to enhance student’s business acumen through continuous learning and networking opportunities. Throughout the summer, interns have the opportunity to:
• Participate in a series of webinars that focus on professional networking, communication and presentation skills
• Listen and ask questions to our executives through our Executive Speaker Series
• Collaborate with other interns across the U.S. and Canada on a Capstone Project that focuses on improving various aspects of our business for our customers
• Travel to Westerville, OH to present their Capstone Project to leadership teams at the Intern Capstone Event, which is hosted at the end of each summer at our headquarters
• Network with other interns and business leaders across all regions and business segments within the organization
• Be considered for full time roles
