Industrial Engineering Intern

General Purpose:

Working with production and management in order to continuously improve and update factory documentation to abide by ISO 9001 standards. It will be expected that these tasks are carried out within the company guidelines and safely.

 

Job Summary:

As an Engineering Intern, you will play a vital role in ensuring that documentation is kept up to date in conjunction with the production departments and quality assurance teams to ensure document management systems accurate.

 

Responsibilities:

- Ensure work instructions are up to date and accurate.

- Work with QA to keep DMS up to date and accurate with their records.

- Work with engineering team and management on special projects.

Education, Training, and Skills Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or current student in a related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with data analysis software is a plus.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Industrial maintenance environment involving heavy

equipment is standard. Physical hazards are present due to equipment and machinery. Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
