Event Planning/Administration/Data Entry
Golf Event Planning (GEP) was established in 2000 to help raise money, organize, and manage Golf Events. Larry Battaglia was a golf professional for more than 7 years and is an avid golfer (the President of GEP) We are a very busy, family-owned business and have great passion for what we do.
Since 2000, we have:
- Managed/Executed annually touching about 50 or 60 golf outings and Galas
- Helped raise thousands of dollars for charities to further grow their event through their contacts
- Expanded our outreach to new events for any type of need
- Ala Carte for many other items or needs an event may have
Purpose: To further the mission of Golf Event Planning by assisting in various aspects of office administration, marketing, fundraising and event planning/operations.
Part-Time/Full-Time Job Position: Event Planning/Administration/Data Entry, Assist in Event Logistics
Job Description: As an event setup assistant you will be carrying out various duties pertaining to event planning, organizing up golf events and various fundraisers. We are seeking a special person who is self-motivated, goal-seeking, self-starter, organized and has a passion for the industry and is able to work in a team environment?
Responsibilities:
- Prompt and ready to work on time
- Assist with the preparation of the event
- Participate in committee Zoom calls, keep notes and manage to-do lists
- Event day set up, Check In Tablets set up, Raffle displays & signage organized
- Coordination of onsite vendors and volunteers
- Opportunity to gain experience with events and event planning
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated, team player with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Detailed-oriented, positive & professional attitude and appearance
- An effective communicator, both written and oral
- Organizational skills, multi-tasking
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Office & Excel
- Knowledge of Constant Contact and Canva is a plus
Hours/Length of Internship: Vary
Compensation: This is a paid internship/ 20/Hour
