Job Summary:

Tryfacta is seeking a Student Intern for our client in San Jose, CA 95118. This is a temporary contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!

Position Title: Student Intern {Pursuing Bachelors}
Location: 5750 Almaden Expy, San Jose California 95118
Duration: 960 hours per fiscal year
Work Schedule: Part Time:15/20 hours per week
 

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

This intern will learn a variety of office skills, including Microsoft Office suite programs, GIS, and our Oracle-based database software.

This intern will develop the skills & knowledge needed to assist in the implementation of water conservation programs through processing applications & answering hotline calls.

This intern will continue to develop customer service skills, through communications with customers, as well as oral and written skills, & work on special in-house projects.

Tasks will include: providing customer service and answering inquiries that come through Valley Water's Water Conservation Hotline; assisting in staffing public outreach events; & assisting in the implementation of Valley Water's long-term programs such as the Landscape Rebate Program, including supporting the customer service expectations of the LRP.

Knowledge, skills and abilities include general office skills and customer services skills; computer proficiency that includes knowledge of the MS Office programs and the ability to use our Oracle-based database; knowledge of our water conservation programs including the Landscape Rebate Program

Applicants need to be currently enrolled as continuing students in an accredited college or university and carrying at least 9 units per school term.
