Job description

Operations interns will be challenged with assisting in the management of our spring (April- June) & summer (June 9-August 22) baseball seasons, as well as our Next Inning program, a job training program for our athletes.

The Casey's Clubhouse Spring Season

  • Assist with the set-up/tear-down of all scheduled games (the season runs from April 26- August 22).
  • Volunteer Management
  • Assist with the management of group volunteers & buddies
  • Stand in as an MVP or coach as needed, or any other game-day needs

The Next Inning

  • Work alongside our athletes as they work inside our Next Inning Concession Stand
  • Assist with the management of concession stand operations
  • Create work schedules for employees and job coaches
  • Stand in as a job coach when needed

Event Planning

  • In-game entertainment and Theme Days

Social Media

  • Take photos during games and events
  • Assist with managing social media platforms

This internship is only available to those living in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Applicants must have reliable transportation, weekend availability during the spring season (April-June) and availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during the summer season (June - August).

Compensation of 575 will be paid at the conclusion of the internship.
