POSITION OVERVIEW
Internship timeline: February 2025-September/October 2025
The Talent Development Intern will have an experience that brings the classroom learning into real life. This position supports the business needs of Windquest Group’s portfolio of companies in the spaces of talent development, retention, recruiting and engagement. This person will assist our team in launching a brand new leadership program for frontline leaders and partner with us in adapting our current leadership programs. This role will also support additional human resources initiatives such as onboarding and orientation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the administration, communication, and tracking of employee and leader training.
- Brainstorm and create new content for our current and future leadership programs.
- Collaborate with the Talent Development Specialist in updating and revising trainings with content that is relevant and engaging to the portfolio companies.
- Work alongside our Talent Development Specialist to configure, administer, and maintain UKG Pro Learning (LMS) platform.
- Partner with our Talent Development team to develop and execute custom training programs and content.
- Assist in refining and executing employee retention and engagement strategies.
- Conduct employee engagement and culture programs, including surveys designed at capturing key employee trends and voices.
- Distribute recognition surveys and programs aimed at increasing employee engagement and retention, and company culture.
- Utilize gathered company data and metrics to create actionable and effective programs.
- Perform recruiting process including job description development, resume screening,
phone interviews, and in-person interviews. - Oversee or implement special projects as directed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Junior pursuing a bachelor’s in human resources, business, or related area.
- Expertise in MS Office.
- Excellent communication and relationship skills with an aptitude for problem-solving.
- Desire to work as a team with a result-driven approach in a highly dynamic work culture and environment.
