Human Resources (HR) Intern

Position Description:

Under supervision & training of the Business and Human Resources Administration department, this student assists the Human Resources Department providing support with administrative tasks. The intern’s responsibilities will include updating employee records, filing HR documents, and assisting in the onboarding process. The student might assist with reviewing job applications, coordinating interviews, and supporting employee development programs. This position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively. 

Performs miscellaneous duties to facilitate the operational efficiency (e.g., maintains accurate records, organizes material & compiles information to assist in report preparation).  Assists with answering incoming calls to assist callers and using the computer & related software (e.g., Microsoft Outlook).

This is a temporary position involving various duties that will either supplement the student's major field of study and/or provide experience that is useful addition to the student's education and meaningful preparation for future professional employment.hu

Qualifications

To be eligible, you must be in good academic standing and be able to provide proof of Enrollment Documentation including your GPA.

Rate of Pay

Freshman and Sophomore: $19.50 per hour

Junior and Senior Students: $20.00 per hour

Graduate Students: $24.00 per hour
