Communications Director
Center Church is seeking a dynamic, creative, and detail-oriented Communications Director to join our Operations Team. This key role will shape and lead all communication efforts, ensuring that our message remains consistent, clear, and engaging across all platforms. Reporting to the Executive Director of Operations, the Communications Director will collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership Team and various ministries to support our mission of making, maturing, and multiplying disciples of Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities
- Communications - Manage, plan and create content for all communication avenues utilized by the church including: stage communication, email, website, social media, videos, etc. Ensure all messaging is professional, timely, and aligned with the church’s mission and identity.
- Project Management - Develop and oversee communication plans for church events and initiatives. Work closely with ministry leaders and staff to ensure the timely execution of communication strategies and materials.
- Creative - Lead creative efforts to convey key information, stories, and updates from our church.

- Graphic Design - Design visually compelling materials in-house, or collaborate with contracted designers, to meet the church’s needs across all ministries. Ensure that all designs align with the church’s brand and support its overall communication strategy.
- Video Production - Oversee the production of videos, working directly with contracted videographers when necessary. Create engaging video content that highlights stories from within the church and promotes events or initiatives.
- Marketing - Lead digital marketing and advertising efforts to promote Center Church within the community. Ensure that all marketing initiatives, whether digital or print, align with the church’s brand identity and messaging.
- Social Media - Oversee and manage the church’s social media presence, ensuring regular and engaging content on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Develop a social media strategy to connect with both congregants and the broader community.
- All Other Duties - Be willing to jump into other tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Position Details
The anticipated start date is January 15, 2025, and this position will remain open until filled. This is a full-time, exempt, benefited position. The work week for this position is Sunday-Thursday with additional requirements for special events falling outside of typical work days/hours.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $55,000-65,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience. The successful candidate is expected to be/become a member of Center Church and to uphold the membership covenant.
