Who We Are

Wraparound Experts (WE) is a comprehensive resource for children and families in schools across Northeast Ohio, offering a range of services and specialized educational staffing solutions. We place the following Special Education and Mental Health professionals at elementary and secondary schools: Intervention Specialist, Remedial Teacher, Gifted or Enrichment Teacher, Title 1 Teacher, School Psychologist, Mental Health Counselor, Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist/COTA, Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Registered Behavior Technician.

WE is dedicated to connecting schools with licensed and qualified Experts who understand the ‘wraparound model’. Our staff goes above and beyond their traditional roles, working together effectively to coordinate services among teachers, support staff and other experts. This is not your typical approach to staffing! Our collaborative approach to learning benefits everyone involved. By wrapping around students with support, we can achieve positive outcomes for students and their families, while fostering a positive work environment.

Beyond staffing solutions, WE offers comprehensive behavioral and mental health training for children, families, and school staff throughout the year. We also provide specialized psychological testing services for autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.

Job Summary

The Gifted/Enrichment Teacher is responsible for planning, developing, and delivering engaging and challenging instructional programs for gifted and talented students, as well as those who would benefit from enrichment opportunities. This position requires creativity, flexibility, and expertise in differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of advanced learners and foster their intellectual, social, and emotional growth.  They may focus on a particular subject area or they may create their own curriculum based on student interests and needs.  This role is essential in helping our students achieve their maximum academic potential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, early childhood education, or a related field, required
  • Master’s degree in Gifted Education, welcomed
  • Valid Ohio Department of Education License, required
  • Endorsement in Gifted Education, preferred    (Or, willingness to obtain Gifted Endorsement)
  • Pass and maintain clear FBI and BCI background check, required
  • Valid driver’s license, required
  • Successful experience working with gifted learners or advanced students, preferred
  • Collaborative, constructive team building skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and other staff members
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and use sound judgment in all aspects of the job

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement differentiated curriculum and instruction to meet the needs of gifted and advanced learners.
  • Develop hands-on, project-based learning experiences that foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Integrate technology, real-world applications, and interdisciplinary themes into enrichment programs.
  • Identify students for gifted and enrichment programs through assessments, teacher recommendations, and standardized test data.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to support their growth and achievement.
  • Provide guidance to address the social and emotional needs of gifted learners, including strategies for stress management, peer relationships, and goal setting.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to provide strategies and resources for differentiating instruction.
  • Work closely with school counselors, administrators, and parents to ensure students’ academic and emotional needs are met.
  • Communicate regularly with families about their student’s progress and enrichment opportunities
