About the Role

Are you passionate about connecting talent with opportunity? Home Services Xpress is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to gain hands-on experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, and HR operations. This internship is a great opportunity to build foundational skills in HR while contributing to a company that values teamwork and innovation.

Responsibilities

As an HR Intern, you will:

  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain accurate records of hiring and onboarding activities.
  • Support communication between departments to align HR initiatives with company goals.
  • Contribute to HR strategies that enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards when managing employee and intern data.
  • Work with the payroll team to ensure accurate payment tracking for hired interns and contractors.

Compensation

This is a paid internship with a performance-based pay structure:

  • $5/hour for every Home Services Intern hired.
  • 2% of revenue from sales generated by the marketing and outside sales teams.
  • $1/hour for every project worked on by the project management or HR team.

  • Current student or recent graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
  • The ability to work independently and remotely.
