Deputy Creative Director

Deputy Creative Director, Wisconsin Supreme Court Race

Wisconsin residents will be voting again this Spring in a number of elections at the state and local level. Statewide elections for the Supreme Court and Superintendent will be on the ballot in addition to a number of local municipal elections.

The majority on Wisconsin’s State Supreme Court is also once again on the ballot. And, the past year has shown how consequential the court’s role is in protecting the rights and freedoms of Wisconsinites. Since 2023, they have:

  • Ordered new state legislative maps to be drawn to combat our previous Un-democratic gerrymandered maps that gave Republicans 70% of the state senate and 61% of the state assembly, despite the tight statewide margins
  • Restored the use of ballot drop boxes for the 2024 election
  • Ruled against Act 10, an Anti-union law that eviscerated public sector unions and the right to organize

In the near future, the Justices will release their ruling on the constitutionality of Wisconsin’s 1849 Abortion Ban.

For all of these elections, it’s important that the over 300,000 college voters in Wisconsin are educated and aware of these spring elections.

Building on work started during the April 2023 Supreme Court Election and in the 2024 election, we’re building a scrappy and innovative team that will organize and inspire thousands of college students to vote in the upcoming Spring elections, including the Supreme Court Election.
