Programming Intern

Developer Intern

MISSION Corp., dba Mission Outdoor (“MISSION”) is looking for a summer Developer intern to work on and develop within its tech stack. MISSION is making outdoor fun easier than ever. We take a thoughtful approach to design because we’ve been there, done that, and figured out ways to do things better. We strive to create products that enhance outdoor experiences for families, enthusiasts, and weekend warriors around the world.

Small businesses today have access to an expansive suite of software products that, individually, provide functionalities vital to enabling businesses to transact. However, these solutions are often designed with numerous compromises that make them marketable to the mass market. This is problematic in that specific needs either cannot be met or require extensive manipulation. We need someone genuinely interested in building software tools that are intuitive to general administration and business folks and that play nicely with our existing tech stack. We are of course open to the implementation of these tools from varying frameworks and languages.

If you are interested in a start-up environment with a group of individuals that have extensive experience in all things engineering and technology, this could be a great opportunity for you. Ultimately, MISSION is a great place to work. You’ll learn about what goes into the development of codebases large and tightknit with a focus on the intersection such things have with teams leveraging the technology to conduct business. The projects you’ll contribute to will be used for years to come by many individuals and teams.
