Agriculture Drone Intern

Position Overview: 
We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Agriculture Intern to join our team for the summer. This is a paid internship designed for students working toward a degree in Agronomy, Precision Ag, Agribusiness, or similar fields with an emphasis in crop production. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in precision agriculture, crop protection, and the latest technologies in farming. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Assist with drone spraying operations and crop scouting. 

Support machine maintenance, drone operations, and overall farm operations. 

Visit fields Regularly to monitor crop growth, pest presence, and overall field health. 

Maintain up-to-date precision ag data for farmers. 

Stay informed on the latest agronomy products, technologies, and services. 

Help with various operational tasks as needed, including physical work such as lifting up to 50lbs. 

Desired Qualifications: 

Currently pursuing a degree in Agronomy, Precision Ag, Agribusiness, or a related field with a focus on crop production. 

Strong interest in precision agriculture, agronomy, and crop protection practices. 

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the team and growers. 

A desire to learn about spraying drones, crop protection, and scouting techniques. 

Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
