Special Project Coordinator - Paid Student Intern
The Housing and Workforce Solution - Community Action Partnership Department is seeking an Intern. The intern is expected to work on special projects in which they will need to deliver results aligned with organizational goals and drive innovation and strategic development.
Also, the intern must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment and retain important date.
The intern will be able to deliver high-quality deliverables, gain effective stakeholder management, and foster collaboration to achieve project goals and data-driven decision-making.
The in-person student internship position is based in Riverside County and offers a flexible work week consisting of approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility granted around academic obligations. The selected candidate can anticipate the internship to span six months to one year in length.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Under supervision, assists and participates in the work performed by employees of a specific profession; Through participation, receive supervised work experience in a specific professional vocation, and performs other related duties as required.
The intern will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Completing unique projects on time
- Increase community access for all Community Action Partnership programs and services
- Research grant opportunities
- Initiate partnership with AmeriCorps
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average: 2.5 GPA required. Proof of most current unofficial/official transcript with cumulative GPA must be provided at time of application.
Education: Applicants must be currently enrolled/attending school at an accredited college or university in a Bachelor's degree or Certificate program, or graduated within the last 12 months.
Areas of Study: Accounting, Finance, or similar, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public or Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Studies or similar.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in business software: Visio, Outlook, Teams and Planner
Additional Desired Candidate Qualifications:
- Bilingual is preferred but not required
- Use of various software's
