The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on a Sales Reporting intern to join our Retirement business during our 2025 summer cohort. 

 

As a Sales Reporting intern, you will have an excellent opportunity to gain real world experience in retirement sales with a focus on data and reporting. In this role, you will utilize several reporting systems, such as Salesforce, along with your data and analytical skills to put together reporting the retirement sales teams utilize. This may range from weekly reporting to enhanced reporting shared in key meetings such as our quarterly business reports or senior leadership team meetings. You will provide feedback and suggestions on ways to streamline and make better use of our reporting tools to lessen and/or eliminate manual reporting.
 

What we’re looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

  • College rising sophomore or junior
  • Must have availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, between the dates of June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and platforms
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Ability to deal with change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

 

Nice-to-have experience (Preferred): 

  • Experience or working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); intermediate Excel skills desired
  • Demonstrates solid relationship management skills with internal and/or external clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, customers, etc.)
  • Sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information

The pay range for this position is $21.00-$23.00/hour with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
