Financial Analyst

TechMentee, Inc is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst, who will be part of the Finance team and will report directly to the Finance Director or ERP Project Manager. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing financial models, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. This role will involve working closely with the IT team to ensure the design, development, and implementation of financial reporting architecture within our Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP. Key responsibilities include setting up systems for financial data aggregation, conducting detailed financial analysis, and designing financial reports and dashboards. 

Job Title: Financial Analyst
Schedule: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-Time – Remote 

 Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
• Collaborate with departments to understand financial needs and constraints.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate financial records.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in the development of financial models to support business planning.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Contribute to process improvements for financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables).
• Experience with financial modeling and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial standards.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced experience with data analysis tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SQL.
