Business Development Representative

FGI

YOU MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN THE NYC AREA.

As a Business Development Representative, you will demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality results while working in a fast-paced and growing environment. The Business Development Representative will be reporting to the Business Development Director and be responsible for the following: 
 

  • Prospects and maintains a network through outbound cold calling, emailing and LinkedIn for all three of our divisions
  • Generate qualified sales meetings for Business Development Directors
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our entire suite of products
  • Engage with c-level executives to pitch our value proposition and identify the needs of prospective clients
  • Strategically manage a target account list
  • Opportunities for career advancement within 12 months if consistently hitting sales targets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration and/or Marketing/Communications Majors are preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM (preferably Salesforce)
  • Ability or interest in understanding financial services and insurance
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Interested in developing sales skills and knowledge through ongoing coaching and training
  • Goal driven, with the ability to meet quotas and deadlines
  • Self motivated with a driven and positive attitude

 

You must be located in the New York area to be considered 

You must be a 2024 graduate. January 2025 and on will not be considered until May 2025.
