Customer Service Representative 2/Sr Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities:


**Please note before application that this position is analytical in nature and is in no way related to a typical “call center” role.


•    This role performs activities to reconcile, review and monitor the activities required to ensure the company's obligation to transport natural gas in the pipeline and store/export liquefied natural gas (LNG) is performed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.


•    Performs advanced level, transactions. Transactions include the monitoring, scheduling, and tracking of shipping schedules, liquefied natural gas inventory tracking, and natural gas deliveries and regulatory filings.


•    Provide information reporting in a timely manner for the month end volume accounting reconciliation and various yearly compliance requirements.


•    Monitor and assist in customer problem resolution, explain company policies, practices, tariff provision and contractual procedures.


•    Participate in specialty projects that require advanced to complex business and or system knowledge and a person that has mastered the more complex natural gas issues.


•    Learn and develop tools to monitor the natural gas and liquefied natural gas pricing markets.  


•    Performs at moderate to advanced level to develop and maintain relationships with liquified natural gas (LNG) and natural gas key customers.


•    Position to develop skills to eventually participate in business development strategy sessions, providing new ideas based on expertise learned through the monitoring and tracking of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and natural gas.


•    May require some availability outside of normal working hours to monitor and provide information to key internal stakeholders.  


•    In time of system stress assist with tasks as required. This role participates in select functions at a moderate to advanced level.
 

Qualifications:


Considerable experience in gas transportation. 
Ability to perform data analysis. 
Ability to define problems, collect data and draw conclusions. 
Ability to communicate effectively, establish rapport and speak persuasively. 
Ability to negotiate problem solutions. 
Effective interpersonal skills. 
Ability to work independently. 
Knowledge of transmission pipeline system, facility operations, tariff provisions and service agreements preferred.
Knowledge of customer facilities and operations, transportation rules and policies and interconnections preferred.

Education 
Bachelor (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)
