THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION BASED IN WASHINGTON D.C.
THE ROLE
As a Senior Marketing Coordinator, you will develop impactful short-form advertising copy across MPOWER’s digital marketing operations including but not limited to email marketing, performance marketing and social media. The ideal candidate possesses superior writing skill and is comfortable communicating with a global audience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving lead acquisition from digital marketing channels through the creation of high-quality, engaging content
- Nurturing MPOWER’s international student community by spearheading content creation for monthly newsletters and live events
- Refining and elevating content, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and brand vision
- Analyzing campaign performance metrics and providing actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Implementing continuous learnings to improve content quality, as well as efficiency and speed of delivery
THE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 3-4 years of agency experience, experience in graphic design is a plus.
- Familiarity with content creation in financial services, consumer finance, or a similar industry is a must
- Superior communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to coordinate multiple campaigns across different marketing channels
- Experience in data tools (SEMRush, Google Analytics, etc) is strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A data-driven approach that is closely aligned with the MPOWER mission and driving impactful results that reach students around the globe
A passion for financial inclusion and access to higher education is a must, as well as comfort working with a global team across multiple time zones and locations!
In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles and responsibilities, variable workload, tight deadlines, and a high degree of autonomy.
Compensation Range: $55k-$70k + discretionary annual cash bonus + Stock Options. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location and are determined based on the strength of the candidate and skillset requirements.
