Digital Operations Intern, Strategy & Business Development

New York, New York 

The YES Network, the #1 Regional Sports Network in the country, seeks a Digital Operations Intern to join its team based in NYC. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy & Business Development, you will play an integral role in supporting operations of The Gotham Sports App and improving digital processes. You will also undertake projects designed to help YES expand and reach its audience of Yankees and Nets fans using market research, industry trends, and stakeholder interviews. RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Partner with Digital team to ensure smooth Gotham Sports App digital operations (e.g., content delivery, user feedback analysis, payments analysis)
  • Conduct audience research to generate actionable insights for the business and ad-sales teams
  • Collaborate with other interns across Marketing and Public Relations to complete projects requiring knowledge of various aspects of the business
  • Support Data & Analytics team in analyzing viewership trends, creation of user cohorts, monthly sales reporting, etc.
  • Special projects as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Working towards a BS/BA
  • Track record of work and/or academic experience with strategic analysis
  • Passion for the business of sports, future of media, intersection of entertainment and technology
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Experience developing effective working relationships in a cross-functional environment
  • Self-starter with ability to solve complex problems in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary
  • Knowledge/Experience in streaming services not required but highly regarded

 

PAY: 

  • $16 / hour
