Investment Intern
Minimum Qualifications:
• Enrolled full-time in a college, university, or graduate program in New York State and have completed a minimum of one (1) year of studies.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Understanding of Finance, Economics, Risk, Sustainability.
• Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, or the letter grade equivalent.
• Able to work full-time Summer (up to 37.5 hours per week).
Duties Description:
This internship is in NYSIF’s Investment Department, which oversees around $20 billion across several asset classes. This year, the team seeks high-performing and highly motivated candidates interested in the investment field. The internship will give insight into NYSIF's Investment activities, including the implementation of several exciting strategies across the portfolio, specifically in the Alternatives, ESG and Sustainable Investing, and Risk teams.
