Science/Biology Content Creator (Internship at Biotech Company)

Internship at Austin-based biotechnology company. Most work will be focused on Biotechnology content creation and developing Wordpress websites for educational and marketing purposes.

Description: Writing science/biology content for company website(s), professional blogs, and social media posts. Content must be a professional publication level that includes such standard sections as Introduction, Methods, Discussion, etc. Example of topic: "CRISPR Mechanism of Action". Work will include creation of educational and marketing content, articles, pictures and schematics, video materials, as well as PPT presentations describing company products and services, writing biotechnology-related content and SEO, making posts in both social media and professional websites.

You will work directly with team of scientists to write biology articles and website content. We do not require any HTML coding skills, however basic knowledge of Wordpress is required, and understanding of SEO- friendly content concept is a plus. Attention to detail in writing (good grammar), understanding of biology terms and Wordpress website design basics is absolutely essential.

References and interview will be required.

Requirements:

- Knowledge and understanding of molecular and cell biology with proven demonstrable track record

- Experience with basic Wordpress website management and ability to write biology/biotechnology content

- Good science writing and technical writing skills
