Fair Banking Analyst

Experience/ Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Data Analysis or related field preferred or equivalent of five years experience in an data analytics role
Knowledge of banking laws and regulations preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively interact with management and persuasiveness to solicit management and employee cooperation
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex laws and regulations
Exceptional personal management skills, including time management and organizational skills with an attention to detail
Good working knowledge of all general types of office equipment; must possess good computer skills with proficiency in basic Word and Excel programs
Valid driver's license with clean driving background, ability to travel to affiliate bank locations including day and overnight travel
Flexible with working schedule to allow work routines that may be required at times of audits, examinations or other special reviews
Position Summary:
The Fair Banking Analyst position will serve a key role in monitoring the fair banking program for the company. This position will perform a variety of duties to ensure compliance with the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Unfair and Deceptive Acts or Practices, and state law. This position is responsible for generating analytics and reports related to fair banking compliance. The individual in this position will receive direction from the Chief Compliance Officer and/or the Deputy Compliance Officer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Produce periodic reports related to fair banking compliance for the bank as well as markets, including but not limited to quarterly redlining reports and analytics reports.
Develop and maintain fair lending analytics within the designated software
Assist management with key decisions by pulling relevant data and providing input and analysis of the data
Conduct comparative file reviews as needed in conjunction with fair lending compliance.
Assist with compliance audits and examinations as needed.
Attend company meetings as needed.
May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
