ADMINISTRATIVE POSITION:

SUPERINTENDENT

12- month position

   Start Date:  July 1, 2025

QUALIFICATIONS:

1)  A minimum of five (5) years of classroom teaching experience required

2)  A minimum of ten (10) years in education in a High School setting is required 

3)  Administrative Experience as a Principal or Supervisory experience in Curriculum 

      or Special Education preferred

4)  Valid New Jersey School Administrator certification

5)  A Doctorate degree is preferred

6)  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

JOB GOAL: 

To serve as Chief Executive and Administrative Officer of the district by implementing policies established by the Board of Education and by discharging the duties imposed on his/her office by law.

REPORTS TO:         Board of Education

EVALUATION:        The Superintendent shall be evaluated in accordance with Policy 1240 and the approved job description
