The student employee will be responsible for assisting in planning academic programs and workshops for in-service and pre-service teachers that are aligned to academic and professional organization content K-12 standards. Along with helping to plan and organize sponsored activities, the assistant will also be responsible for maintaining the Center's website and social media. The successful candidate will be required to be on-campus for up to 20 hrs. each week.
All University of Akron student employees must meet the designated minimum standards as stated on the Student Employment Eligibility Chart. UA student employees must be 18 years or older at the time of their start date. Any approved remote work conducted by student employees MUST be performed within the state of Ohio.
